Pre-school

These specifically designed classes incorporate free movement, the beginning of Ballet movement, some basic limbering, a little tap, lots of singing and mime and an opportunity for the tinys to meet other children. Communication with the teacher is very important, and so children are requested to bring a dolly or teddy to sit and watch!

Parents are not encouraged to watch, as it is difficult to cope with trying to teach this age group with an audience. However, do not hesitate to ask the teacher or assistant in the class how your child is progressing…they will be happy to let you know!

Please ensure your child is brought to class well groomed with hair tied back, preferably in a bun and names in cardigans ,ballet and tap shoes.

Please Note; Although your child may want the uniform for their first lesson, it is by no means necessary to have it for their first class. Unfortunately we cannot use Tap shoes at the Walton site.
